| Jeff grew up in a family of builders, just outside the Beltway. His grandfather started building custom homes in the 1950s. His father, Gil Willson, owns Willson Land Development Corporation, a high-end custom homebuilder and land developer in Maryland. Jeff spent many childhood days at construction sites, and at the age of 10 started working summers with his father, sweeping out houses and moving materials. A few years later he was framing walls and eventually completing fine finish carpentry. After graduating from East Carolina University, Jeff worked under a Master Electrician in Maryland for a few years, then took a project management position with a local commercial general contractor. Seven years later, Jeff was ready to branch out on his own as a third generation builder. So in 2010, JG Willson Construction officially opened its doors. |
